Gen Kelsang Tenzin
The Resident Teacher of Menlha Buddhist Center and Amitayus Kadampa Buddhist Center in Philadelphia is Gen Kelsang Tenzin. Gen Tenzin teaches Teacher Training Program, Foundation Program, General Program classes, day courses, and leads retreats. Gen Tenzin has been a close disciple of Venerable Geshe-la for many years and is a senior Kadampa student and teacher. He studied on the Teacher Training Program at Saraha Center in San Francisco while teaching at Dewikoti Buddhist Center in Marin, California. Subsequently he taught at Odiyana Buddhist Center in Connecticut for over seven years. Gen Tenzin has a great depth of understanding of the teachings and is skillful in his presentation by sharing them in an entertaining, practical and kind-hearted manner.
