Be part of the largest Kadampa gathering in North America this year, the 2008 US Kadampa Buddhist Festival!

Everyone, whether new to Buddhism or a longtime student, can appreciate the special magic of this annual event. The Festival is a joyful gathering where we can receive and explore Buddha’s timeless teachings in the company of spiritual friends from around the country. In the inspiring environment of the World Peace Temple, we can easily take new understandings and insights deep into our heart. Listening to clear, practical advice and meditating on it together, we lay the foundation for lasting peace and happiness.

This year, please join us in a beautiful ceremony to receive the empowering blessings of our Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugden, and teachings on the practice of Wishfulfilling Jewel.

Empowerment & Commentary to the Practice of Buddha Vajrapani

With Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

at Manjushri KMC
England
May 23-26, 2008

During the Festival, Venerable Geshe Kelsang will give the empowerment and commentary to the practice of Buddha Vajrapani.

Vajrapani is a Buddha who embodies the spiritual power of all enlightened beings. His name, which means ‘Vajra Holder’, indicates that he is the lineage holder of Buddha’s Vajrayana teachings in general and of Highest Yoga Tantra in particular, and that he has a special power to destroy delusions – the true enemies of living beings.

Through his blessings and inspiration we can gain the inner strength to face our daily problems and sufferings, and to eliminate our delusions, especially self-grasping ignorance, which continually rob us of inner peace and destroy our happiness.
