with Rob Kelly
Saturday | December 14, 2024
In his holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens shows us why misery and loneliness accompany a life lived for purely selfish ends.

THE GIFT OF SERENITY
with Kelsang Chogo
Saturday, December 21
We all may have noticed that when we’re in the room with a person who is negative it affects us. Likewise, when we’re in the room with someone positive it comforts us.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could offer our inner peace and serenity as a gift to the people in the rooms that we enter? Everyone welcome.

The new year is a symbol of possibility. We wish to change and for our lives to go in a better direction, but for that to happen we need to connect with the potential that exists within our minds. The profound tools of transformation within Buddhist meditation gives us the ability to become the person we wish to be: more dynamic, confident, kinder, more loving, peaceful, and happier. Everyone welcome.

"Our Dharma centers are the main mechanism by which we give happiness to others. If our Dharma center flourishes, more and more people find the solution to their pain. We're busy engaging in meaningful activities, benefiting others through strengthening the power of our Dharma center."
– Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
