JAN 2022 WINTER RETREAT
Lamrim: The Stages of the Path
with Gen Kelsang Chogyop & Menlha Teachers
Move closer to perfect and lasting happiness by engaging in our annual Lamrim retreat, guided by Kelsang Chogyop and other senior students at Menlha. Lamrim is a special set of instructions that includes all the essential teachings of Buddha. This retreat will be based on Venerable Geshe-la’s latest book The Mirror of Dharma with Additions.
Retreats provide the ideal opportunity to take the teachings to heart and deepen our understanding and familiarity with the practice. Compassion provides a beautiful and blessed environment in which to engage in retreat.
Friday, January 21 – Sunday, January 23
with Robin Kelly
Worrying is easy. What we don’t often realize is that it also ruins our happiness. Rob will give teachings and guide meditations that lead to mental well-being, peace and happiness, even when life is very difficult.
7:30 – 8:30 pm
Menlha Kadampa Buddhist Center is one of more than 1,200 Kadampa centers and branches now established throughout the world. We are located in the quaint city of Lambertville, NJ. We have started the process of reopening our physical space and all of our drop-in classes are now offered in-person. Please check each class to see if there is an in-person option.
What is Kadampa Buddhism?
Modern Kadampa Buddhism is a special, systematic presentation of Buddha’s teachings particularly suited for contemporary society. This presentation preserves the meaning and intention of Buddha’s original teachings while making them clear and practical in a way that anyone can easily understand and put into practice.
