THE TRUE SOURCE OF HAPPINESS IS INNER PEACE

Special Events

SPECIAL EVENT!

The Science of Happiness

with International Teacher and Buddhist Monk Gen Rabten

Hosted by KMC Boston

What is the one thing that we all have in common? Everyone of us wishes to be happy, to be free from frustration, worry and inner conflict. But no matter how hard we try, a lasting happiness remains elusive. That job, that person, that place where we live - It delivers for a while, and then again we become restless, dissatisfied and the search continues, endlessly. Buddha taught a scientific approach to finding happiness from within our mind, by changing our attitude and posture towards how we live our life.

THE TANTRIC OPPORTUNITY

What is a Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerment?

with Kadam Morten Clausen

Eastern US National Spiritual Director

Since our International Kadampa Summer Festival 2021 will again be held virtually, we have an unprecedented opportunity; for the first time in human history the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments will be given online.

In this day-long workshop, Kadam Morten will explain the significance of Highest Yoga Tantra: through talks and guided meditations, he’ll explore what a joyful and creative practice it is, the power it adds to our spiritual life, and how it integrates all that we learn at our Kadampa Centers and opens us up to an extraordinarily meaningful and blissful life.

If this sounds intriguing to you, we encourage you to join us for this workshop.

What is Kadampa Buddhism?

Modern Kadampa Buddhism is a special, systematic presentation of Buddha’s teachings particularly suited for contemporary society. This presentation preserves the meaning and intention of Buddha’s original teachings while making them clear and practical in a way that anyone can easily understand and put into practice.
