  • Learn practical methods to gain control over unhealthy thoughts and desires, and replace them with new positive mental habits.

  • Gradually transform our unhealthy habits into the path of spiritual development.

Buddha taught practices to transform every facet of our lives into the spiritual path. Did you know he also taught how to transform death and dying? In this unusual course we will learn to demystify and remove fear from the process of dying, and how to use the death process to propel our mind into a pure and peaceful state of existence.

This course will also offer advice on how to help others maintain a peaceful and positive mind, freedom from fear, and to move their mind towards enlightenment as they navigate the death process.

A mandala is a traditional offering created through the power of imagination. The entire universe is visualized as transformed into a pure land, and then mentally offered to the Buddhas. A beautiful and creative practice, it is an extraordinary method for generating positive energy and good fortune.

For successful meditation and authentic spiritual development, it is vital that we learn to open a window into our mind through which the inspiration and energy of the holy beings can enter.

This course will introduce the practice of making mandala offerings and show how to integrate the practice into our spiritual life.

These teachings are followed by an optional Guru Yoga Mandala Offering Retreat, May 17 – 20
